Jackie Davis, MA, LMHC is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Indiana and certified in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT). In a career spanning over 30 years, Jackie has amassed extensive experience in working with adults and adolescents with trauma, depression, and anxiety. She also has an extensive history working with interpersonal relationships, phase of life transitions, medically complex individuals, chronic mental health, and crisis intervention. Besides outpatient settings, Jackie has provided services in residential placements, hospitals, schools, and home based services. Jackie has years of direct service and supervisory experience.
Jackie is well-versed in specialized cognitive behavioral therapy, exposure therapy for anxiety and OCD, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), motivational interviewing, and mindfulness. Jackie believes in the power of teaching her clients to be their own therapist - empowering her clients to become experts in knowing what is maintaining their symptoms, and practice of effective interventions to make sustainable and long term improvements in their lives. Jackie is firm yet compassionate and flexible in order to meet the needs of her clients and achieve their treatment goals.
Jackie received her master’s degree in counseling from Governors State University. She is always seeking continuing education to fine tune her skills in order to address the needs of her clients.
